Help is right here
First, let me give you a little intro to what a sleep coach is…
A pediatric sleep coach is a specially trained professional who helps parents and caregivers teach their little ones healthy sleep habits! Basically, I help you coach your sweet little loves into a restful night’s sleep, so you tired mamas (& dads) can depend a little less on caffeine and get back to looking forward to bedtime!
"Also, I could finally sleep. And this was the real gift, because when you cannot sleep, you cannot get yourself out of the ditch—there’s not a chance."
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love
A Gentle, Trust-Based Approach for Your Baby's Restful Nights
If you are new to pediatrics sleep coaching I want to clear the air – Sleep Coaching is not ‘cry it out.’ Is this a method that can be used? Yes, but it’s just not one I practice.
Instead, my approach is gentle, grounded in love in order to build a strong foundation rooted in trust. I use a biopsychosocial and holistic technique, where I will complete a full assessment of your child with a series of questions in order to grasp the full picture. From there I will use my knowledge of the average sleep needs for children as a baseline focus and tweak and adjust as needed.
Each child is unique, so the goal is to find out what your child’s specific sleep need is. This will ultimately end up meeting your sleep goals for your child, as their parent.
